Fresco is a delightful young stallion proudly imported to NZ by Holly Leach when he was rising 3 years of age. HP Fresco is a modern horse with a particularly beautiful head and neck. His eye is soft and generous and is a true representation of his personality.
Sire - One of Germany's Brightest Rising Stars
Fresco's sire is one of Germany's rising stars at Grand Prix level, the stunning Oldenburg stallion Fackeltanz OLD. Fackeltanz OLD was the celebrated Reserve Champion of the licensing in Vechta in 2007.
Fackeltanz OLD took his 30-day test in Schlieckau which he finished with high scores for his gaits and rideability, and then went on to win A Level (~First Level US) tests for young dressage horses.
Fackletanz's sire is the greatly celebrated Florencio, who won the 5yr old World Championship for Dressage Horses in 2004.

Fresco's mother is HP Liebeleis, her sire "Lander has also produced approximately 26 Grand Prix Dressage horses and 22 Grand Prix Show jumping horses in Australia" .

First Progeny A Success
Fresco had his first crop of foals on the ground in 2016 and they have indeed acquired their father's expression and type, making them a huge success.
HP Fresco - Forging a Reputation in Australasia
Fresco has proven himself as a serious competitive horse in the competition ring in his first season, taking out North Island Level 2 Champion and Central Districts Level 2 Champion and posting scores in the high seventies, including several 80% scores for his Musical Freestyles!! HP Fresco was awarded Champion NZ National 5 year Young Horse.
Fresco traveled to Australia in May 2017 and had a phenomenal Australian campaign taking out Reserve Champion in the Australian National 5 year old Championship beating out imported horses and proving once and for all, he is a young horse with an enormous future!
Fresco then went on to the Sydney CDI and competed in the 5 yr old Young Horse Championship, again, taking out Reserve Champion. HP Fresco is a bright shining star with a seriously competitive career ahead for both himself and his progeny.
